LiteMile Technologies Inc. (Vancouver, BC) builds simple software for Canadian final-mile delivery contractors and DSPs. Our first product, LiteMile Invoicing, is live. We are now building LiteMile Ops, a scheduling and dispatch platform for delivery companies and their drivers.
A complete working prototype already defines every screen, workflow and business rule, with a written walkthrough and automated checks. We need one experienced full-stack developer to build the production version on Supabase and Next.js.
What You'll Build
- A multi-tenant SaaS where each company sees only its own data, enforced with PostgreSQL row-level security
- Office roles and permissions, plus a mobile web app for drivers with sign-in by text message code
- Scheduling and dispatch with rule checks, CSV/Excel import, and text message and email notifications
- Secure storage for driver documents, English and French, with all customer data hosted in Canada
- Hosting, environments, CI/CD, backups and monitoring, set up and owned by you
Must Have
- 5+ years building production web apps, including at least one multi-tenant SaaS with paying customers
- Strong PostgreSQL, including row-level security. Supabase experience is a strong plus
- Next.js / React with TypeScript, and Node.js
- Experience setting up hosting, deployments and backups yourself (there is no separate DevOps person)
- Phone or SMS one-time code login (for example Twilio or Supabase phone auth)
- Solid security habits
- Based in Canada, able to work as an independent contractor, and willing to sign an NDA and IP assignment
Nice to Have
- Logistics, delivery, dispatch or workforce scheduling software
- Twilio, Stripe or Cloudflare
- English/French apps, automated testing (Playwright), speaking French
How We Work
- Hourly, ideally 25 to 35 hours a week, first release in 3 to 6 months, with ongoing work after launch
- We start with a small paid test task
- Milestones with an hour estimate for each, a short demo every week, GitHub with pull requests
- The prototype and full specification are shared after an NDA
To Apply
Please start your proposal with the word "Dispatch" and include:
1. Two or three production apps you built, your role in each, and whether they have paying users
2. In a few sentences: how you would make sure one company can never see another company's data in Supabase or PostgreSQL
3. Your availability (hours per week) and earliest start date
4. Where in Canada you are based
