Senior AI-Native Product Engineer Contract · Remote, 9am - 1pm EST + (additional hours flexible). Software that runs a real business on day one We are a company that builds cutting-edge technology for the Property Management space. We’re looking for a development all-star to join this incredible, hard working team. If you live out: Humility - Ego takes a backseat. We listen first, serve always, and stay teachable. Hunger - Relentless pursuit of growth. We don't coast—we push boundaries every day. Grit - We finish what we start. Obstacles are fuel, not roadblocks. Generosity - We give more than expected—time, knowledge, grace—and lift others up. And are ready to apply your deep skills and learn more daily, we want to hear from you. We build new products regularly. They all run on a shared platform with single sign-on, shared data, and written build standards that every app follows. On the board right now These are examples. The list will look different in six months, and there are many more behind them. A teachable AI for rental analysis. Our current version feeds data to an LLM and returns a memory file, but it doesn’t actually learn from our team’s corrections. We’re building one that does, and that can prove it’s getting better. Multi-party agreements. Owner onboarding needs e-signatures with multiple signers, signing order, partial completion, and a defensible audit trail. Internal lead management. The tool our team uses to work inbound prospects from first contact to signed owner. An AI-driven testing platform. Multiple AI agents that probe our apps the way real users (and bad actors) would, so we can ship fast without breaking things. How we build We’re AI-native, and we ship weekly. Claude Code, Cursor, and Lovable are part of the daily workflow. Specs come before code, and every app is built against a written standard. [Confirm and add: GitHub, PR review, staging environment, CI.] AI writes a lot of first drafts here. Humans own whether they’re right. The role You’ll work directly with our development lead and follow his development and architecture lead. You’ll own products end to end: spec, build, test, ship, maintain. We review each other’s code. Your first two weeks Week 1: You’re set up, you know our platform and build standards, and you’ve shipped your first change to production. Week 2: You deliver your first complete feature end to end. After that: You ship weekly like the rest of the team, own product areas, and help build our testing infrastructure. What you need You’ve shipped and maintained production web apps that real people use, and you can show us one. Strong TypeScript, React, and Node.js skills, plus solid PostgreSQL knowledge: schema design, migrations, and Row Level Security. Supabase experience is a strong plus. Experience building REST APIs, third-party integrations, authentication, and backend workflows (webhooks, background jobs, and asynchronous processing). You use Claude Code, Cursor, or similar tools daily, and you can explain how you verify what they produce. You’ve built at least one LLM-powered feature that went to real users. Security instincts for sensitive data: permissions, personal information, signed documents, and financial records. Experience writing automated tests and validating end-to-end user journeys. Comfortable with GitHub workflows, pull requests, code reviews, and CI/CD-based deployments. Clear writing: specs, PR descriptions, async updates. Nice to have Workflow or state-machine design (multi-step approvals, multi-party signing, audit trails) AI agents, persistent memory, retrieval, or feedback-loop systems for LLM features. Playwright, browser automation, or agent-based testing. Experience with cloud infrastructure or serverless architecture. Real estate or property management experience You won’t love it here if You want fully specced tickets handed to you. You trust AI-generated code without checking it, or refuse to use AI tools at all. You think testing is someone else’s job. A weekly shipping pace sounds stressful rather than fun. What we offer Your work in real users’ hands every week A steady stream of new products, not one codebase forever A direct line to the founder and the development lead, with decisions made in hours How to apply Send us two things: A link to something you shipped that real people use, and what you’d do differently now. A short written note or a Loom under 5 minutes about a time AI-generated code looked right but wasn’t: how you caught it and what you changed in your process. Our process 30 minute intro call → paid trial project → walkthrough of your trial with our development lead → conversation with our founder → references. We aim to go from application to decision in 2-3 weeks.
