Senior SQL Server Developer (T-SQL + Django): Get an Auto Dealer Reporting App Live on Real Data

Overview: We run daily reporting for a group of motorcycle dealerships. The new web app is built: Django 5.2, 550+ passing tests, CI green. What's left is mostly in the database: a legacy SQL Server with four databases, ~100 stored procedures and nightly loaders, and some of them produce wrong numbers. The job is making the numbers right, then going live. You'll: * Run read-only checks on the live server, then compare every page with our current site for 3 stores * Fix the stored procedures and loaders behind the wrong numbers (some figures reset to zero each morning; some drill-downs read stale tables) * Make a few small Django fixes and harden the login * Write the Financial Statements procedure from an account mapping our accountant provides * Launch under supervision, with an alert when a store's nightly files don't arrive You are: a senior SQL Server developer who writes T-SQL every week and is comfortable in Python/Django. You check the numbers before you change anything, and you take a backup before you touch production. Accounting or dealership software experience is a plus. How we work: read-only access first. Every change goes on a branch through a pull request. No production change without a restore point and sign-off. Why fixed price: We’ve waited years for this product and have paid hourly for slow progress before. So this is fixed price, with clear milestones you get paid on as each one is done.
