Senior WordPress & Technical SEO Specialist **Ongoing Contract | Remote | USA & Canada Only** NO AGENCIES!!! We are a growing US based telehealth company looking for an experienced **WordPress and Technical SEO Specialist** to support our website and organic search growth. We need someone who can confidently handle both **WordPress development and hands-on SEO implementation**. This is not a consulting-only role. **Applicants must be located in the United States or Canada. NO international applicants at this time.** ## Responsibilities - Manage WordPress updates, troubleshooting, plugins, themes, and ongoing site improvements. - Create and optimize pages and landing pages. - Improve website speed, mobile responsiveness, and Core Web Vitals. - Implement technical and on-page SEO. - Optimize metadata, headings, URLs, internal links, images, and keywords. - Fix crawl, indexing, redirect, sitemap, schema, and broken-link issues. - Manage Google Search Console and GA4. - Conduct keyword and competitor research. -Develop and implement SEO/AIO strategies to improve organic visibility across Google and AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Grok. - Monitor SEO performance and recommend ongoing improvements. - Stay current with Google updates, SEO trends, and AI search changes. ## Ideal Candidate - 5+ years of professional WordPress experience. - Strong hands-on technical and on-page SEO experience. - Comfortable independently diagnosing and fixing issues. - Experience with tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, Rank Math, or Yoast. - Knowledge of HTML/CSS and basic PHP. - Strong communication and responsiveness. - Healthcare or telehealth experience is a plus. ## Key Deliverables - Maintain and improve the WordPress website. - Implement technical and on-page SEO. - Improve site speed and Core Web Vitals. -Optimize schema, structured data, featured snippets, and AI-search readiness. -Improve organic visibility across Google and AI search platforms. - Resolve indexing and Search Console issues. - Optimize priority pages and keywords. - Provide ongoing WordPress and SEO support. - Provide concise updates on completed work and next priorities. ## To Apply Please include: 1.
