Simple Script for Basic ChatGPT (OpenAI) API Integration

Write a simple script (preferred language: Python, Node.js, or PHP – that authenticates with my OpenAI API key. The script should send a basic text prompt to the gpt-3.5-turbo or gpt-4o model. The script must successfully receive the AI's response and output it as text. What is NOT included (to respect the budget): No front-end UI or web design required. No complex database integrations. No advanced prompt engineering or multi-agent setups. Requirements: Familiarity with the OpenAI API. Ability to deliver clean, commented code so I can understand how to change the API key and prompt myself. Please include the phrase "API Micro-task" in your proposal so I know you read this description. Deliverables: A single script file (e.g., .py or .js). A brief 1-2 sentence instruction on how to run it locally.
