We are Normal (cadquests.com), a US company building AI for mechanical engineering. We need mechanical engineers for a 3-day project starting immediately and finishing Thursday.
THE WORK
You'll see two AI-generated CAD models of the same part, side by side with the engineering drawing and the CadQuery (Python) code that generated them. You pick the better model and write 2–3 sentences explaining why — geometry, feature intent, whether the code does what the drawing requires.
About 5 minutes per item; most people do 10–12 per hour. The work happens on our web platform and we onboard you within an hour of hiring. No CAD software required.
WHO WE NEED
• Mechanical engineering degree, in progress or complete, with 1–2+ years of CAD or design-team experience
• Able to read Python. The models are generated as CadQuery code — we teach the library in a 15-minute primer, so you need Python literacy, not CadQuery experience
• Strong English comprehension. You must read drawing notes, tolerances and spec language correctly and write clear explanations — the write-up is the deliverable
