Supporting Developer — AI Voice/SMS Ordering Platform

We run a live SaaS platform where an AI agent answers restaurant phone calls and SMS to take orders and bookings, and need a supporting developer to help maintain and extend it alongside the lead dev. Stack: Python/Flask backend, React + TypeScript (Vite) frontend, Supabase (Postgres/Auth), deployed on Render + Vercel. Integrations you'd work with: Vapi (voice AI), Twilio (calls/SMS), OpenAI, Stripe Connect (tenant payouts + pay-by-link orders). What you'd do: Fix bugs and ship small-to-medium features across the Flask API and React dashboard Work with webhook-driven flows (Stripe, Twilio, Vapi) and background jobs Write tests alongside changes (unittest on the backend) Debug live-call/SMS issues using logs and provider dashboards (Twilio, Stripe, Vapi) Must have: Solid Python (Flask or similar) and React/TypeScript experience Comfortable reading/debugging third-party API integrations and webhooks Postgres/SQL basics Can work independently from a written brief, ask sharp clarifying questions Nice to have: Experience with Twilio, Stripe Connect, or voice/telephony APIs Familiarity with Supabase Part-time/ongoing, paid per task or hourly — details on interview.
