About the Project We're looking for an experienced full-stack developer to help build and improve an AI-powered SaaS platform. We'll start with a clearly scoped, paid assignment expected to take 1-2 working days. This initial task will help us evaluate technical fit, communication, and code quality, with the possibility of ongoing collaboration. What You'll Work On Depending on the agreed scope, your initial assignment may involve: - Building or improving a frontend feature using React, Next.js, and TypeScript. - Developing backend APIs or integrating third-party services. - Updating PostgreSQL queries, schemas, or data access logic. - Integrating an LLM API into an existing product workflow. - Fixing bugs and improving validation, error handling, or application reliability. We'll agree on the deliverables and acceptance criteria before work begins. The initial task will focus on one specific improvement. Relevant Technical Experience - Frontend: React, Next.js, TypeScript. - Backend: Node.js or Python. - Database: PostgreSQL. - AI: OpenAI API, Claude API, or Gemini API. - Infrastructure: Docker, cloud deployment, and CI/CD. - Integrations: REST APIs, webhooks, and authentication. Experience with structured LLM outputs, embeddings, document processing, RAG, or AI workflow automation is a plus. What We're Looking For You should have experience shipping and maintaining production applications, be comfortable working in an existing codebase, and communicate clearly when requirements need clarification. We value practical engineering decisions, maintainable code, and reliable delivery. Please be prepared to explain the tradeoffs behind your implementation. Expected Deliverables - A working implementation of the agreed feature or fix. - A clean Git pull request with a concise description. - Appropriate testing for the changes. - Brief setup notes, including any configuration or database changes. - A summary of any remaining limitations or follow-up work.
