We're a London based ecommerce business building a new AI powered SaaS product, made up of a marketing website and a web app. The back end is built and working, and the branding is done. Now we need someone to make both look, feel and work like a proper product people will happily pay for. You'll work directly with one of our founders, who has built the back end using AI coding tools. He looks after the engine. You'll own how the website and app look, flow and behave. What you'll be doing - UX and UI: user flows, wireframes and polished designs in Figma for the marketing website and the web app, using our existing brand guidelines - Front end build: turning those designs into a clean, responsive website and app in our existing Next.js codebase, connected to our Supabase auth and API routes - Simplifying a working but clunky test interface into something a busy, non technical user can pick up without any training - Fixing issues as they come up through testing and launch - Ongoing updates to the website and app after launch as we add new features The first version A marketing website of around 5 pages (home, how it works, pricing, FAQ and sign up) plus roughly 10 app screens (sign up, onboarding, dashboard, results and review screens, account and billing). What we're looking for - A portfolio of SaaS websites and web apps you've designed AND built, with live links - Strong Next.js and React (Tailwind or similar) - Happy jumping into an existing codebase, including one written largely with AI coding tools - Git, pull requests and clear, regular communication - Reliable and quick. We've been burnt by a slow agency before, so speed and consistency matter to us more than anything - Good working overlap with UK hours Nice to have - Supabase and Stripe (or credit based billing) - Experience with AI products or ecommerce - A CMS for the marketing site so we can publish updates ourselves How we'd like to work A fixed price or milestone based first version to start, then an ongoing monthly arrangement for updates to the website and app, with a set number of hours each month rather than paying per change. You'll need to sign an NDA before we share the product. To apply Start your proposal with the word "Lighthouse" so we know you've read this, then tell us: 1. How you'd approach turning a working but clunky app into a polished first version 2. Your rate, how you'd price the first version and what a monthly update retainer would look like 3. Your availability and time zone Looking forward to hearing from you! Rob
