Developer needed: kids' streaming website (video, parent accounts, parental controls) ABOUT THE PROJECT I'm building OnceUpon Channel, a safe streaming website for kids' and family shows made by independent creators. Parents pay a monthly subscription, and creators earn a share of the revenue. I already have a prototype built with AI tools and need an experienced developer to turn it into a reliable, secure product. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Review and clean up the existing prototype code - Set up video hosting and streaming (Mux or Vimeo OTT) - Set up parent subscriptions with Stripe - Build parent-only accounts with child profiles (nicknames only, no personal data from kids) - Build parental controls: PIN, age sections (Kids and Family/Teens), blocked titles, watch-time limits, and viewing history - Build a creator submission page and an admin page for me to review and approve shows - Make it work well on phones, tablets, and computers REQUIRED SKILLS - React or Next.js, and Supabase (or similar backend) - Stripe subscriptions - Video streaming experience - Web security basics BIG PLUS - Experience with kids' apps or privacy rules such as COPPA - Experience with parental controls or profile systems IMPORTANT TERMS - I own all code and work (IP assignment) and an NDA is required - All code stays in my GitHub account - Payment by milestone - No ads, no tracking, and no third-party analytics TIMELINE AND BUDGET - Timeline: [your timeline, such as 6-8 weeks] - Budget: [your range, or ask for a quote] - Preferred overlap: at least 2 hours a day with Eastern Time (US) TO APPLY, PLEASE ANSWER 1.
