We are Granite Printing (Tea, SD). We already run graniteprinting.com and gamedayprints.com (NBA/NCAA licensed metal prints). This job is a SEPARATE storefront: uploadmyprint.com. Purpose Any customer photo, any reason (wedding, pet, office, kids, travel). They upload, personalize, we print on aluminum in-house and ship. What to build Shopify Online Store 2.0 storefront that does this path: 1) Homepage — one action: “Upload my print.” Short how-it-works (upload → personalize → we print). 2) Product: Custom Metal Print with variants 6×9, 12×18, 16×24, 20×30, 24×36. 3) Editor — customer uploads JPG/PNG/HEIC. Tools: crop, caption, background remove, enhance. Live preview on a metal-plate frame. Block checkout if resolution is too low for the selected size. 4) Checkout — customer pays product + freight (rate card by destination, not a fake flat fee). Line-item properties must carry the print file (or app file ID) onto the order so the shop can open it in Admin. 5) Order tag: uploadmyprint. Confirmation copy: preview email before we print; ship 3 to 5 business days after approval; Made in USA. Apps we expect you to install and configure (or propose better) - Reliable file upload on the order (Uploadery, Infinite Options, or equivalent). Shopify native file properties are not enough. - Live personalization / preview if it is stable (Customily, Zakeke, or similar). AI enhance + background remove can be the app’s tools or a named plugin — it must land a print-ready file, not a pretty preview that we cannot open. What we already have - Brand direction: charcoal + teal, wordmark “Upload My Print,” tray + arrow mark. - HTML wireframes (Home / Editor / Checkout) and a starter Shopify theme zip we can give you. Use them. Do not invent a second brand that looks like graniteprinting.com (navy/gold, NBA). - Fulfillment is us. No POD middleman. Deliverables - Theme installed on our Shopify store (we create the store and give you staff access — not Owner). - Working upload → editor → paid test order with the file visible on the order. - Size variant prices we will provide. - Shipping set as rate card / real carrier, not $0. - 1-page handoff: which apps, where the file lives, how we reject a low-res file. - 14 days of bug fixes after launch. Must have - Shipped at least one Shopify store with customer file upload that actually attaches to the order. - Comfortable with theme customizer + one paid upload/personalizer app. - Can work in US Central time for two working sessions. How to apply 1) Link to a live store you built where a customer uploads a file. 2) Which upload + editor apps you would use and why (2–4 sentences). 3) Fixed price for MVP (homepage, product, editor, checkout, apps configured) and days to first test order. This is a fixed-price MVP with a cap. We are not looking for a 6-month redesign.
