AI Backend / AI Agent Developer

Project Overview We are building an AI-powered operational ecosystem that helps local service businesses operate more efficiently. Our Marketplace platform already manages bookings, customers, and transactions. We are now building the next layer: an intelligent operational system that uses business data to improve customer retention, marketing, reporting, workflow automation, and business decision-making. We have completed a detailed project specification outlining the architecture, AI agents, workflows, infrastructure, roadmap, and MVP scope. We are looking for an experienced AI/backend engineer to review our documentation and provide a technical implementation plan, development estimate, timeline, and, if we are a good fit, continue building the platform. This is not a chatbot project. This is a backend AI platform designed to support real business operations. About the Project The goal is to build an operational intelligence layer that sits on top of our existing marketplace. The AI system will eventually include multiple operational agents that work together to help businesses improve performance. Current planned agents include: CRM & Intelligence Growth & Retention Marketing Campaign Performance Lead Generation SEO & Discoverability Investment & Runway Intelligence The first MVP will focus on only the core operational agents before expanding into predictive intelligence. Existing Platform The Marketplace already exists. Customers can already: Create accounts Book services Make payments Manage appointments The work is focused on building the intelligence and automation layer that uses this data. Responsibilities The first engagement is a technical planning phase. You will: Review our project documentation Recommend the best technical architecture Identify any missing technical requirements Suggest improvements to scalability Recommend the best AI framework(s) Break the project into milestones Estimate development hours Estimate project cost Identify technical risks Explain how you would build the system If both parties are a good fit, you will continue as the lead backend developer for the implementation.
