Cloud Mobile Automation Engineer — Instagram & TikTok Device Farm / Messaging Infrastructure

We are building a web-based creator outreach platform for Instagram and TikTok. This is not a desktop app and not a browser extension. We want a cloud-operated system using a managed Android device farm / real-device infrastructure, controlled from a web dashboard. The product should let an internal operations team manage multiple legitimately owned social accounts, assign creator outreach tasks to accounts, monitor conversations, and use AI to assist with qualification and reply drafting. We are looking for a senior engineer or small technical team to research, design, and build an initial proof of concept. Scope of work: - Design a cloud architecture for operating Android devices remotely. - Evaluate real-device farms versus managed Android/emulator infrastructure. - Build a web control plane for accounts, devices, campaigns, creator lists, tasks, and conversations. - Support secure, isolated account/device assignments. - Build a task queue: select creator → assign account/device → open relevant social workflow → log result. - Create a central conversation and activity log. - Integrate AI for message drafting, reply classification, routing, follow-up suggestions, and human escalation. - Build observability: device status, account status, task success/failure, audit logs, alerts, and kill switches. - Propose a robust data model and API architecture. - Deliver an MVP that can be used internally by an operations team. Technical preferences: - Web dashboard: React / Next.js - Backend: Node.js or Python - Infrastructure: AWS, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes where justified - Database: PostgreSQL - Queues: Redis, SQS, RabbitMQ, or equivalent - Mobile automation: Appium, Android tooling, managed device-farm experience - AI: OpenAI API or equivalent, with structured actions and approval workflows Important constraints: - We do not want a desktop client or end-user local agent. - The system must be operated from the cloud. - We prefer real Android devices or a credible managed-device architecture over a simple browser-only bot. - The project must not rely on bypassing platform security controls, CAPTCHA solving, account theft, credential harvesting, or anti-detection techniques. - The contractor should clearly identify what is technically feasible, what requires human review, and which parts create platform-policy or reliability risk. Please include in your proposal: 1. Your experience with cloud mobile-device infrastructure or device farms. 2. Examples of web control planes you have built for multi-account or multi-device operations. 3. Your recommendation: real Android devices, emulators, or a hybrid architecture. 4. A proposed architecture diagram and phased delivery plan. 5. Estimated timeline and budget for a technical feasibility study and MVP. 6. Your approach to account/session isolation, observability, audit logs, and safe failure handling. We are initially hiring for a paid architecture and proof-of-concept engagement.
