Full-Stack Engineer (Vue 3 / Node / AI-native) — Part-time, 20 hrs/week

We're building a platform that orchestrates client project delivery — AI agents do the work, humans step in where it really matters. The platform is already well along: Vue 3 frontend, Node backend (all ESM), LLM-driven workflows, multi-tenant, documented with two dozen Architecture Decision Records. We know exactly where this is going. Our problem is throughput. We need someone who digs in and ships things independently. The deal: 20 hours/week to start. You bring your own Claude Max (Opus) license. After about 3 months there's a real path to more hours if things click. What you'll work on: - New features end to end: Vue 3 / TypeScript frontend through to Node backend - An LLM-driven workflow engine with states, hooks, approval gates, and agent orchestration - The data layer: a Markdown/YAML tree as the system of record, git worktrees for isolation, server-sent events for live updates - Integrations over MCP (e.g. Plane for project management, ElevenLabs for voice) - Tests with Vitest and Playwright — quality is part of shipping here, not a chore How we work: - AI-native. Claude Code is your pair partner, not an occasional tool. You know where to trust it and where to keep it on a short leash. - Fail-Loud. When something is broken or a value is missing, it makes noise. No silent fallbacks, no fabricated placeholders. What we need from you (must-haves): - Solid TypeScript and Vue 3 (Composition API) - Node.js with ESM — not just familiarity, actual production use - Full-stack generalist: frontend, backend, a feature from end to end - Comfortable with Git (branches, rebase) - You use AI coding tools daily and critically review their output Nice to have: - LLM integration experience: prompting, tool-calling, structured outputs - Zod, server-sent events, YAML/Markdown processing - Event-streaming thinking, Plane/Linear experience - A feel for architecture: C4, ADRs, clean interfaces You don't need React, Python, Go, Rust, or Webpack.
