Laravel upgrade expertise needed.

We are a local bookstore with a custom Laravel based application on DigitalOcean and need to bring our system up to date. We also need to restore some lost functionality with one (or more?) of our APIs due to older PHP incompatibilities, but that can be done in a second phase. It is only used for internal employee use and not a site for public use. We are currently on Laravel 8 PHP 7.4.33 MySQL 5.7.33 Ubuntu 16.04.6 LTS Nginix (unknown version) Source code is in GIT, but we still need to ensure that everything is fully sync'd. We have APIs that reach out to Keepa.com, Amazon.com, Twilio.com and possibly others? We are looking at LaravelShift, but we would need additional expertise that we do not have in place. There is a DEV instance available for use now. I can help with this project, but I am not experienced with web-based frameworks and was not a systems administrator in my previous job, but I can help with some technical needs and project coordination and testing.
