We run a hotel revenue-management platform (Laravel + Vue) used by independent hotels and management companies. It imports reservation data from multiple PMS systems (Cloudbeds, Mews, Clock PMS, StayNTouch, and others) and turns it into occupancy, pace, pickup, and revenue analytics. We now need to connect hotels running Oracle OPERA, both OPERA Cloud and on-premise OPERA 5 properties, and we're looking for a specialist who knows the Oracle Hospitality integration ecosystem from the inside. Important context: most of the dashboard-side code already exists. We have a working OHIP API client (OAuth 2.0 client-credentials / OCIM authentication, async Reservations Daily Summary pulls with lastModifiedDate windows) and a working import pipeline for on-premise OPERA report exports. What we need from you is the Oracle-side and hotel-side expertise to get real properties connected reliably. What you'll do - OHIP enrollment & provisioning: Guide us through Oracle Hospitality Integration Platform access: customer-sponsored app registration and/or Oracle Hospitality Partner Network (OHPN) enrollment, developer portal setup, environment onboarding, app keys, client credentials, gateway URLs, and property activation for each hotel. - OXI setup for on-premise properties: Advise on and configure the OPERA Exchange Interface (OXI) for OPERA 5 hotels: licensing requirements, interface configuration, message types (reservations, rates, availability, profiles), delivery method, and error handling. Where OXI isn't feasible for a property, recommend the best alternative (e.g., scheduled report exports). - Pilot property rollout: Get our first OPERA Cloud property live end-to-end: sandbox validation, production credentials, initial backfill, and ongoing incremental sync. - Data validation: Verify what we receive against the PMS: reservation statuses (including cancellations and no-shows), room/rate codes, market and source codes, revenue figures, currency handling. - Documentation: Leave us a repeatable per-hotel onboarding playbook (what to request from the hotel, what to request from Oracle, expected timelines, common failure points). - Optional / future: Advise on OHIP streaming APIs / business events for near-real-time updates. Must-have qualifications - Hands-on experience taking an application through OHIP registration to production (developer portal, OAuth client credentials, property APIs), not just reading the docs. - Real-world OXI interface configuration experience on OPERA 5 / on-premise properties. - Solid understanding of the OPERA data model: reservations, profiles, rate codes, room types, market/source/channel codes. - Experience coordinating with hotel IT teams and Oracle support to get interfaces licensed, installed, and activated. - Clear written English and reliable availability for check-in calls (some overlap with Eastern Time preferred). Nice-to-have - OHPN partner membership experience or Oracle Hospitality certifications. - Experience with OHIP streaming/business events. - PHP/Laravel or general REST API development skills (our dev team writes the code, but it helps if you can read it). How we'll work You'll work directly with our in-house development team. We handle all coding on our side; you bring the Oracle ecosystem knowledge, drive the enrollment and configuration process, and validate the data. Start with one pilot property, then help us onboard additional OPERA hotels as they come. To apply Please answer these questions in your proposal (proposals that don't will not be considered): - Describe an application you personally registered in the OHIP developer portal and took to production. What was the hardest part? - Describe an OXI interface you configured: OPERA version, message types, and the external system on the other end. - Have you worked through customer-sponsored OHIP access, OHPN partner access, or both? - What's a realistic timeline, in your experience, from "hotel says yes" to "reservation data flowing" for (a) an OPERA Cloud property and (b) an on-premise OPERA 5 property? Start your proposal with the word OPERA so we know you've read this far.
