Senior Native iOS (Swift) & Laravel (PHP) Developer — App Migration & Vimeo Integration

Project Overview: We are looking for an experienced full-stack mobile developer (or a small agency) to take over technical maintenance for Sacred Acoustics, a wellness and meditation audio app. Your immediate tasks will be migrating our backend API to a new managed server (Cloudways), updating the iOS video player from YouTube WebViews to native Vimeo HLS streaming (AVPlayer), and submitting an update to App Store Connect. Full Technical Stack: iOS Mobile Front-End: Native Swift (using Swift Package Manager, Carthage, and Bundler) Backend API & Middleware: PHP 8.5 / Laravel, MySQL 8.4, NGINX External APIs & Hosting: Shopify Storefront API (Classic Customer Accounts), Vimeo API, AWS S3 (audio hosting) Key Deliverables: Backend Server Migration: Deploy existing Laravel PHP 8.5 project and MySQL 8.4 database backup to a new Cloudways (DigitalOcean) instance under our account. Point API domain DNS and configure SSL. iOS Codebase Setup: Build the native Swift iOS project locally using SPM, Carthage, and Bundler. Video Player Refactor: Replace legacy YouTube WebViews in the "Courses" section with native iOS AVPlayer rendering Vimeo HLS (.m3u8) video streams. Integration Testing: Verify Shopify Storefront API user login, subscription access rules, and AWS S3 audio track playback. App Store Release: Build, code-sign, and upload the updated app binary to our Apple Developer / App Store Connect account and manage App Store review submission.
