WordPress & Shopify Website Maintenance Specialist — Long-Term Freelance Role

We are looking for an experienced independent freelancer to manage, update, maintain, and improve multiple websites, including WordPress websites and Shopify stores. This is a long-term opportunity for someone reliable, technically strong, responsive, and capable of independently handling website maintenance without constant supervision. What You’ll Be Responsible For Regular updates and maintenance of multiple WordPress websites Shopify store updates, maintenance, and improvements WordPress core, theme, and plugin updates Troubleshooting website errors, bugs, and technical issues Website speed and performance optimization Fixing layout, mobile responsiveness, and compatibility issues Updating pages, content, images, products, menus, and other website elements Shopify theme customization and minor development work Basic SEO and technical website improvements Website backups, security checks, and general maintenance Identifying potential problems before they become major issues Handling ad-hoc website tasks as they arise What We’re Looking For Strong hands-on experience with WordPress and Shopify Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic PHP Experience working with WordPress themes and plugins Experience with Shopify themes, Liquid, and Shopify admin Good understanding of website speed, security, and troubleshooting Ability to work independently and find solutions without step-by-step instructions Excellent attention to detail Fast and clear communication Reliable and available when needed Comfortable managing multiple websites simultaneously Important We are specifically looking for an individual freelancer, not an agency or a team.
