Workflow Automation Specialist – n8n, Make, Zapier & AI Integration

We are looking for a resourceful Workflow Automation Specialist to help build, connect, and maintain our company’s tech stack. You will automate processes across our key business departments, including Marketing, Accounting, Transaction Coordination, Operations, and Logistics. Many of the software tools we use do not integrate out of the box. Your main responsibility will be linking these tools together using custom webhooks, browser extensions, and API connections so that completing a task, updating a lead, or moving a pipeline stage automatically triggers actions across our systems. We are not looking for a high-cost senior software engineer. We want a fast, practical builder who knows how to use modern AI tools to solve problems quickly and keep our integrations running smoothly. Must-Have Requirements (The 3 Core Fundamentals): Workflow Connectors & Webhook Integrations: Hands-on experience building multi-step automations in n8n, Make, or Zapier. You should be comfortable connecting apps using webhooks, HTTP requests, and custom extensions when direct integrations aren't available. AI Troubleshooting & Prompting: Strong ability to prompt AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to debug errors, structure API calls, and solve technical issues fast—rather than getting stuck or doing manual work. AI-Assisted "Vibe Coding": Experience using AI coding environments like Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Cursor, or Windsurf to write, adjust, and deploy small scripts or webhooks quickly. Key Responsibilities: Maintain & Expand the Tech Stack: Connect software tools across departments that lack native integrations using webhooks, APIs, and browser extensions. Build Cross-Department Automations: Set up multi-step triggers for lead status updates, operational handoffs, transactional documents, and task management. Leverage AI Daily: Use AI as your main co-pilot to research documentation, debug code, and build workflows faster. Monitor & Fix Broken Flows: Keep an eye on system connections to ensure data passes accurately between tools without failing. Who You Are: Self-Taught & Adaptable: You have solid experience connecting tools through webhooks and APIs, but you are eager to learn our specific setups and grow your skills. Efficient Problem-Solver: You use AI to get answers in minutes instead of spending hours scratching your head. Reliable Communicator: You can consistently deliver full-time work and stay active during our Central Time overlap hours.
