AI Assisted Full Stack Builder

We’re a small US manufacturer replacing a patchwork of tools with our own operations system: customers, products, orders, production, shipping and invoicing, all on one Postgres database. Most of the code is written by AI coding agents (Claude Code), then reviewed by a second AI model and by our systems lead before anything merges. The system already runs parts of the business, and our first big cutover is in December. We’re looking for a builder who can take a ticket, get it done right, and prove it works. This is not a role for someone who only writes prompts and ships whatever comes back. We need someone who reads the code the AI writes, questions it, tests it, and catches what it gets wrong. What you’ll do Pick up scoped issues and take them through branch, pull request, review and merge Direct AI coding agents with clear instructions, then check their work line by line Write tests and checks that prove a feature works, including the uncommon cases (partial shipments, changed orders, duplicate records) Reproduce bugs before fixing them, and explain the cause in plain English Write and review SQL: constraints, migrations, row level security, data checks Flag logic that looks right but isn’t, before it reaches production You’ll be a fit if you Have shipped and maintained real software that people relied on, in any stack Are comfortable with TypeScript, React or Next.js, and SQL (Postgres or Supabase a plus) Think about edge cases and how things break, not just the happy path Work in small, reviewable pull requests and write down your reasoning Use AI coding tools regularly and can tell us where they have misled you Speak clear English and are available for calls during US Pacific business hours Details 15 to 30 hours a week to start, with room to grow Hourly, $15 to $70 depending on experience You’ll work alongside our systems lead, who owns the plan and approves every merge Starts with a short paid test task
