AI Automation & API Expert | Make.com, Shopify, OpenAI

Description We're looking for an experienced automation developer to work with us long term across multiple ecommerce businesses. Our immediate project is building an AI customer service system using Gmail + Shopify + Make + OpenAI that can automatically: Read and respond to customer emails Look up orders and tracking in Shopify Follow our customer service policies Modify orders when allowed Escalate certain cases for human review We're looking for someone who knows more than just Make.com. You should be comfortable building custom integrations when necessary. Required experience: Make.com REST APIs & webhooks Shopify Admin API OpenAI / Claude APIs OAuth/API authentication JSON Gmail integrations Basic JavaScript or Python We have many additional automation projects planned for our other businesses, so we're looking for someone reliable, highly technical, and interested in ongoing work.
