## Experienced Web Scraping & Data Extraction Specialist Needed We are a UK-based company looking for an **experienced web scraping and data extraction specialist** to help us build a number of targeted business databases. We will provide the websites and directories that we want data extracted from. ### Information Required For each business, we will typically require: * **Business Name** * **Website** * **Telephone Number** * **Email Address** (where publicly available) * Any other relevant information specified for that particular project The completed data will need to be supplied in a **clean, structured Excel or CSV file**, ready for us to use. ### This Is a Scraping Job — Not Manual Data Entry We are specifically looking for somebody who understands **professional web scraping, data extraction and automation**. You should be comfortable developing or adapting scraping tools/scripts to efficiently extract information from websites containing hundreds or thousands of businesses. You should understand: * Web scraping and automated data extraction * Python or equivalent scraping technologies * Dynamic/JavaScript websites where required * Pagination and large directories * Data cleaning and standardisation * Removing duplicate businesses * Extracting publicly available contact information * Producing accurate, well-structured datasets ### Speed Is Important We have **multiple websites and potentially large volumes of data** to process, so turnaround time is important. We are not looking for someone who intends to research every business manually. We need someone who knows how to automate the process properly and can return large datasets quickly and accurately.
