Full-Stack Developer — SaaS Architecture & Scalability

**We're Hiring: Senior Full-Stack Developer / SaaS Software Engineer (Remote)** We're looking for an experienced **Full-Stack Developer** to transform an existing, live SaaS platform into a production-ready multi-tenant product. Our platform is already operational with active daily users. We're now entering the next stage of development, focusing on **software architecture, codebase restructuring, performance, scalability, and preparing the platform to onboard multiple business clients.** **Required Technical Expertise** - **Frontend:** Next.js, React, TypeScript - **Backend:** Node.js, REST APIs, server-side architecture - **Database:** Supabase, PostgreSQL, database design, indexing and query optimisation - **SaaS Architecture:** Multi-tenancy, tenant isolation, RBAC, Row Level Security (RLS) - **Infrastructure:** Vercel, GitHub, CI/CD, staging and production environments - **Integrations:** Third-party APIs, webhooks, OAuth, background jobs and asynchronous processing - **Performance:** Frontend/backend optimisation, caching, monitoring and debugging - **Testing:** Automated testing, integration testing, regression testing and release management - **Security:** Secure authentication, authorisation, data protection and API security **Key Responsibilities** - Review and assess the existing application architecture and codebase. - Restructure and refactor the system into a clean, maintainable and modular architecture. - Establish professional full-stack engineering standards and development practices. - Design and implement a robust multi-tenant SaaS architecture with secure data isolation. - Improve application performance, reliability and scalability. - Strengthen database structure, API design and backend services. - Establish proper development, staging, testing and production workflows. - Develop reusable components and consistent UI/UX patterns. - Implement monitoring, error handling and automated testing. - Prepare the platform for onboarding and managing multiple independent business clients. - Collaborate with AI-assisted development workflows while maintaining high engineering standards. **Ideal Candidate** - Proven experience architecting and scaling production SaaS platforms. - Strong understanding of software architecture, system design and database engineering. - Experience modernising and restructuring existing codebases. - Hands-on experience implementing secure multi-tenant applications. - Ability to make sound technical decisions and explain architectural trade-offs. - Strong debugging, analytical and problem-solving skills. - Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor or similar. - Able to work independently, take ownership and contribute to long-term technical strategy. **We're not looking for someone to simply build features or maintain the current system.** We're looking for an engineer who can help us take an existing working product and turn it into a **well-architected, enterprise-grade SaaS platform ready for commercial growth.** **Location:** Remote **Opportunity:** Long-term collaboration
