Full Stack Engineer for Wellness Platform

I am looking for a full stack engineer to help build a mobile-first wellness platform that creates personalized wellness plans using various healing modalities. The project will focus on developing a user-friendly experience, supporting plan customization, and ensuring the platform is scalable and reliable. You should be comfortable working across both front-end and back-end systems and able to help shape the technical direction of the product. Scope: explicit data contracts for each pipeline hand-off; a one-way versioned publish pipeline from the content source; the deterministic recommendation pipeline end to end; the experience layer; then a small storefront with a third-party payment processor. Consent records, audit events and telemetry are built in from the start. I already have: - A full application feature and requirements specification — twelve functional domains, scope tags, explicit launch gates - A system architecture blueprint — layered design, typed hand-offs between components, defined fallback behavior for every part that calls a model - A relational data model and ERD for the governed knowledge base - A user journey, and clickable HTML mockups Stack: Open to your proposal. Current thinking is a single mobile-first codebase, managed Postgres with row-level security, any server-side model calls behind a thin adapter, and a third-party payment processor so no card data touches our systems. Skills: Depth in data modeling, governed and versioned content, auditability, and privacy-sensitive data handling.. Experience with health-adjacent, fintech, or any regulated or compliance-shaped domain is a strong plus. US-based preferred for timezone overlap but not required; strong English and reliable overlap with US Eastern hours are.
