Fullstack Engineer- | TypeScript, React, Node.js

We are looking for an experienced software engineer who can take a feature or bug from understanding the requirement through implementation, testing and release. You should be comfortable working in an established codebase, investigating unfamiliar behaviour and making focused improvements without needing every implementation step specified. You will have technical direction and peer support, with clear responsibility for the quality of your own work. What you will do : ● Build complete features. Work across React interfaces, backend services and database changes. Understand the user workflow and clarify acceptance criteria before implementation. ● Investigate and resolve bugs. Reproduce problems, trace them through the application and data, identify the cause and add regression coverage. ● Test your work. Write unit and integration tests, use end-to-end tests for important workflows and verify relevant edge cases. Record what was tested and surface remaining risks. ● Protect customer data. Apply authentication, permissions and tenant boundaries correctly. Consider how changes affect different users, customer configurations and existing records. ● Work safely in production systems. Consider migrations, backward compatibility, performance and recovery when making changes. Support release verification and investigate issues when needed. ● Use AI effectively. Use coding agents to understand code, develop changes, write tests and investigate failures. Inspect the output, catch mistakes and explain the final implementation. ● Collaborate clearly. Keep tickets and pull requests current, review teammates’ work and flag uncertainty, blockers or scope changes early. Core technical skills: We need strong practical experience with: ● TypeScript and JavaScript, including asynchronous code, error handling and debugging. ● React, including forms, state management, API integration and complex user workflows. ● Node.js backend development, ideally NestJS or a comparable structured framework. ● PostgreSQL and SQL, including relational modelling, queries, schema changes and diagnosing data issues. ● HTTP APIs and integrations, including validation, authentication, permissions and failure handling. ● Automated testing, Git, pull requests and CI/CD workflows. The project also uses tools including Vitest, Playwright, AWS, Redis and Drizzle ORM. Experience with these is useful; we do not expect familiarity with every library before joining.
