Marketplace App Development (iOS & Android MVP)

We are looking for an experienced mobile app developer (or small team) to build a peer-to-peer marketplace mobile application for iOS and Android. The platform will allow users to create accounts, publish listings, browse items, and communicate with other users in a simple and intuitive way. The focus is on building a clean MVP with essential marketplace functionality that can be launched quickly and expanded over time. The main goal is to validate the concept with a working product, so we are prioritizing speed of delivery, clean architecture, and ease of future scaling over advanced or complex features in the first release. Key Deliverables (MVP): * User authentication and profile management * Create, edit, and delete listings * Image upload and item details management * Browse and search listings * Filtering by category, price, and location * Favorites / saved listings * In-app chat between users * Push notifications for key activities * Basic admin moderation panel * Deployment to iOS and Android app stores Future Enhancements (out of scope for MVP): * Payment integration and checkout system * Delivery or logistics coordination features * Ratings and reviews * Featured/promoted listings * Map-based discovery * Subscription or monetization features What We’re Looking For: * Proven experience building mobile marketplace, classifieds, or eCommerce apps * Strong expertise in React Native or Flutter * Experience with Firebase or backend API development * Ability to design scalable but simple system architecture * Experience with real-time messaging and notifications * Ability to deliver production-ready MVP efficiently * Strong communication and ability to work independently We are looking for someone who can help us launch quickly while keeping the foundation solid for future growth.
