Next.js Developer needed to maintain & improve existing LMS (App Router)

I’m looking for a full-stack Next.js developer who has excellent UI/UX judgment to help evolve a live LMS into a modern competence and practice platform. The current platform is built with Next.js (App Router) + TypeScript and already handles courses, certificates, license tracking, and admin tools. The next stage is to make the experience more performance-driven and higher adoption — closer to a practice + proof system than a traditional course library. What I need help with: Improving the learner dashboard so it focuses on competence status, clear next actions, and progress Building clean scenario / practice flows with instant scorecards Designing and implementing smart, non-annoying reminders Keeping the UI modern, clean, adaptive, and easy to use Working carefully inside the existing codebase I want someone who: Understands product and UX principles (not just visual design) Can suggest better solutions when a flow feels confusing or low-value Cares about ease of use and actual learner adoption Can implement polished, modern interfaces Requirements: Strong Next.js (App Router) + TypeScript Experience building clean dashboards and product UI Good UI/UX judgment and ability to improve flows Comfortable working in an existing production codebase Direct communication (no agencies or middlemen) Bonus: Experience with learning products, SaaS dashboards, or practice/simulation style interfaces Strong instincts around empty states, scorecards, and reminder UX Tailwind CSS Engagement: Start with a small paid test task. If both the code quality and thinking are strong, move to ongoing part-time work.
