Build features end-to-end on a live Nordic loan origination platform.
We run a multi-tenant mortgage and loan origination platform used by banks and lending advisors. It handles the full journey: customer onboarding and identity verification, credit bureau and debt-register lookups, affordability and eligibility calculations across a dozen banks, offer generation, and document signing. Real users, real money, real regulatory constraints.
We're looking for a full-stack developer who is comfortable moving across the whole stack — a React screen in the morning, a .NET service handler after lunch — and who writes code the next person can read.
You might be the perfect match if you are/have
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar position
- Proficiency in TypeScript and .NET
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture (EDA) and Domain Driven Design (DDD) principles
- Experience writing end-to-end (e2e) tests, not just unit tests
- Effective AI usage and AI-supported SDLC — you work daily with tools like Claude Code, Copilot or Cursor, and you still review and own every line that goes in
- Comfort in a large existing codebase: reading before writing, following the conventions already there
- Fluency in English (B2+) for daily client communication
- A collaborative mindset, attention to detail, and a focus on quality
- 4+ hours of daily overlap with Central European Time (CET/CEST)
What you'll work on
- Features in our customer-facing portal and internal CRM/advisor app (React, Next.js, TypeScript)
- BFF layer and shared libraries in a NestJS + Nx monorepo
- .NET microservices organised by bounded context (Case, Customer, Offer, Relationship, Support)
- Integrations with credit bureaus, bank APIs and public registries
- Tests that actually run in CI — unit, integration with Testcontainers, Playwright e2e
Our stack
Frontend: TypeScript, React 18, Next.js, MobX, Zustand, React Hook Form, Zod/Yup, Tailwind CSS, MUI, Ant Design, Storybook, i18next Backend (Node): NestJS, Nx monorepo, CQRS, Kafka (KafkaJS), PostgreSQL/TypeORM, MongoDB/Mongoose, Redis, GraphQL, REST, OpenAPI Backend (.NET): .NET 10 / .NET 8, ASP.NET Core Minimal APIs, MediatR (CQRS), MongoDB driver, Redis, Polly, Serilog, Outbox pattern Cloud & infra: AWS (EKS, API Gateway, ALB, S3, Cognito, MSK), Terraform, Terragrunt, Docker, GitHub Actions Testing: Jest, Vitest, Playwright, Cucumber, Testcontainers, xUnit
You don't need to have shipped all of it. You do need to be strong in .NET, and genuinely willing to learn the rest.
Nice to have
- Fintech, banking or other regulated-domain experience
- Kubernetes / EKS and Terraform at scale
- Experience introducing or improving AI-assisted workflows in a team, not just for yourself
You will
- Contribute to both front-end and back-end development
- Ensure high-quality code through testing and code reviews
- Collaborate in a remote-first environment
- Keep a client-centered mindset, with regular and open communication
- Contribute to the success of innovative technology projects in fintech
How we work, and what we offer
- Small, senior team. Short-lived branches, PR review on everything, Jira for tracking, Confluence for decisions. We favour clear naming and one correct implementation over defensive fallbacks and compatibility shims. AI-assisted development is normal here — we care about the result and the review, not the keystrokes.
- A fair rate. We value talent and professionalism and pay accordingly.
- Grown-up team culture. We respect maturity, real conversations, and intelligent working — which means not overworking. Effective listening matters here, so your thoughts and ideas count.
- Continuous learning. We support continued learning and provide the tools and licences you need.
- Sustainable pace. It isn't only about work. We care about the whole person and expect people to look after themselves along the way.
Engagement
- Long-term contract, 30–40 hours per week
- Fully remote, async-first, with a short daily sync
Hiring process
- Intro video call (~1 hour) — background, expectations, and culture fit.
- Pair programming session — a hands-on call with one of our engineers and our CTO, working through a real-world problem together.
- Offer — if everything aligns, we send an offer and the next steps.
- For some candidates we start with a paid 2-week trial task on a real ticket, then continue ongoing if it's a good fit.
