Senior React.js Next.js Developer AI Assistant with OpenAI/Claude API Integration & LLM Workflows

Overview We are looking for a skilled, autonomous Full-Stack Next.js & React Developer with proven experience integrating AI/LLM models into real-world production environments. This is not just a standard web-building, you will be enhancing an interactive dashboard that uses state-of-the-art AI features (chatbots, semantic search, or automated workflows) while ensuring high performance, cost optimization, and user privacy. What You Will Do • Frontend Development: Build highly responsive, accessible, and clean component architectures using React, Next.js (App Router), TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS. • AI Feature Integration: Connect to leading LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic Claude). • Advanced AI Workflows: Build features like structured JSON outputs, streaming AI responses (SSE), vector searches, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), or intelligent data extraction. • Backend & Optimization: Develop robust backend API routes within Next.js or external Node.js/Python frameworks. Optimize database queries (PostgreSQL/Supabase/MongoDB) and manage AI prompt tokens to control latency and costs. Required Technical Skills • Frameworks: Next.js (Deep knowledge of Server Actions, App Router, SSR/ISR optimization) • Languages: React Next.js & TypeScrit • AI Architecture: Real-world experience handling OpenAI/Claude API rate limits, error management, vector databases (Supabase), and RAG pipelines. • Styling & UI: Tailwind CSS, Shadcn UI • Databases & Auth: Experience with Supabase, PostgreSQL, Prisma, or MongoDB alongside NextAuth/Clerk. • Version Control: Git & GitHub best practices (clean branching, descriptive pull requests). Nice-to-Haves • Experience utilizing modern AI coding platforms like Claude Code, to speed up internal development pipelines. • Prior experience building canvas-based layouts or rich text visual editors.
