Senior WordPress Architect / Developer — Bilingual English/Spanish PLAY STATE LLC is identifying a Senior WordPress Architect / Developer to be included as proposed key personnel in a university/public-sector RFP involving the redesign and migration of multiple websites into a standardized WordPress environment. This opportunity is subject to contract award. We are currently building the proposed project team and need an experienced WordPress professional whose resume and qualifications can be included in the proposal. Required experience Strong senior-level WordPress experience WordPress Multisite architecture and administration Custom WordPress themes and reusable components Custom plugins and plugin integration PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML and CSS Complex website migrations Content migration and validation Staging, production and deployment workflows Git / GitHub version control WordPress security, performance and scalability Integration with third-party APIs or external systems Highly preferred Experience with universities, government agencies, public-sector organizations or large institutional websites Experience migrating multiple websites into a WordPress Multisite environment Familiarity with WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility requirements Experience working with distributed development teams Language requirement Professional working proficiency in both English and Spanish is required. Project context The anticipated engagement is approximately 3–6 months, depending on project award, final scope and implementation schedule. The architect would work with PLAY STATE LLC's Project Manager / Technical Lead and development team on architecture, WordPress Multisite configuration, template strategy, technical reviews, migration planning and implementation support. Important — proposal-stage requirement Candidates must be willing to: Provide an updated resume/CV Allow PLAY STATE LLC to include the resume and professional qualifications in a client proposal as proposed personnel Confirm availability to participate if the contract is awarded Participate in a brief interview before selection Provide examples or references supporting relevant WordPress experience Being included in the proposal does not constitute an immediate employment or payment commitment.
