UI/UX Designer to Clean Up & Modernize Existing React + MUI Construction Management App Description: We’re looking for a strong UI/UX designer to clean up and elevate the look and feel of our existing web application. We are a construction technology company building a specialized construction management platform for finish trades subcontractors. The product is already live and functional (React + TypeScript + Material UI), but the visual design and overall polish need significant improvement. The current interface feels functional but dated, inconsistent, and not as clean or modern as it should be for a professional B2B tool. What we need Audit the current UI and identify the biggest visual and usability issues Redesign key screens for better hierarchy, spacing, typography, and consistency Create a cleaner, more professional look and feel that still works well for complex workflows (tables, filters, dashboards, multi-step forms, etc.) Improve mobile/responsive experience where needed Deliver an updated design system / theme that our developers can implement cleanly in MUI This is not a ground-up redesign or a marketing website project. We want targeted cleanup and modernization of an existing product interface. Tech stack (for context) React + TypeScript Material UI (MUI) Custom theming already in place You do not need to write production code. Strong Figma skills and the ability to hand off clean, developer-friendly designs are required.
