WordPress Developer (Hosting, Plugins, Security, Speed Optimization) I’m looking for an experienced WordPress developer to help me complete and optimize my blog. The site is about 80% finished, and I need someone skilled to come in and finalize everything properly. The site was recently restored from an old backup, so there are some minor issues that need to be identified and fixed. I need someone who can not only complete the setup but also catch and resolve anything that may be broken or misconfigured. This project requires strong experience in hosting setup, plugin configuration, site security, and performance optimization. The goal is to ensure the blog is fully functional, secure, and able to handle high content volume moving forward. Scope of Work: * Complete final setup of my WordPress blog (currently 80% done) * Identify and fix issues from recent backup restoration * Review and properly configure all plugins * Install and set up security plugins to ensure the site is protected * Optimize site speed and performance (run speed tests and fix issues) * Ensure hosting and infrastructure are properly configured for scalability * Optimize images for performance (this will be an image-heavy site) * Set up a reliable backup system * Ensure theme (ThemeForest theme) is fully configured and working correctly * Fix logo sizing and responsiveness (desktop + mobile) Fixes Needed (Important): * Mega menu setup and functionality * Tabs and page layout issues * Post layout consistency * Fix missing thumbnails on some real posts * Clean up demo content vs real content where needed * Identify and fix any additional issues not listed (I want everything handled properly) Future Scalability Requirement: I plan to publish 1000+ articles per month, so I need someone who understands how to structure the site for high-volume content without slowing it down. This includes proper image handling, caching, CDN setup (if needed), and overall performance strategy.
