Title: WordPress Multisite Expert – Merge 2 WooCommerce Sites (.com + .co.uk) with Domain Mapping, Separate Stripe Accounts & VAT Category: WordPress Development / WooCommerce Budget type: Fixed price (with milestones) Job Description: I currently run two independent WordPress/WooCommerce sites: roastjobs.com (International market) roastjobs.co.uk (French market) I want to consolidate them into a single WordPress Multisite network to simplify ongoing maintenance (one dashboard, one set of plugin/theme updates) while keeping the two sites operationally and legally separate — they belong to two different companies with different VAT registrations. What I need: WordPress Multisite setup (sub-site architecture), migrating the content and WooCommerce data from both existing sites without data loss (products, orders/history if possible, customers). Domain mapping: each sub-site must be fully mapped to its own top-level domain — roastjobs.com and roastjobs.co.uk — each with its own SSL certificate, functioning as fully independent domains to visitors and to Google (not subdomains). Two separate Stripe accounts, each connected only to its corresponding sub-site — payments must never cross over between the two. Separate VAT/tax configuration per sub-site, correctly reflecting each company's tax rules (UK vs EU/France post-Brexit). Separate invoicing: each sub-site must issue invoices under its own company name, VAT/company registration number, and its own independent invoice numbering sequence (no shared sequence between the two). Geo/language redirect + manual switcher: auto-redirect visitors to the relevant domain based on IP/browser language, but with a visible manual switcher (e.g. "FR / UK") so users can override, and with search engine crawlers excluded from forced redirects. Hreflang tags correctly implemented between the two sites to avoid duplicate content issues and support SEO. Basic QA/testing on both live domains post-migration (checkout flow, VAT calculation, invoice generation, Stripe routing) before going fully live. Ideal candidate: Proven experience with WordPress Multisite + domain mapping (please share a live example if possible — this is the part most freelancers claim but haven't actually done with two different TLDs). Solid WooCommerce experience, including multi-currency/multi-Stripe-account setups. Comfortable with basic international VAT logic (UK vs EU) — you don't need to be a tax expert, but you need to understand how tax classes and invoicing rules should be structured, since I'll be validating the actual rates/rules with my accountant. Experience with SEO-safe site migrations (301 redirects, hreflang, avoiding ranking loss).
