Advanced WordPress Development – ACF Pro, Custom Post Types, Custom Taxonomies & Dynamic Templates

We are looking for a highly experienced WordPress developer to work on an existing Legal Services website. This is not a basic WordPress, Elementor, or page-builder task. We require a developer with strong hands-on experience in custom WordPress development, Advanced Custom Fields (ACF Pro), Custom Post Types, Custom Taxonomies, WordPress hooks, custom queries, and dynamic content architecture. The website already exists, and the selected developer will be responsible for extending and improving its underlying content structure. Scope of Work The main responsibilities will include: Create and configure custom fields using ACF Pro Build structured and scalable ACF Field Groups Create and configure Custom Post Types (CPTs) where required Create and manage Custom Taxonomies Establish relationships between post types, taxonomies, and custom fields Implement ACF Relationship, Post Object, Repeater, Flexible Content, Group, and other advanced field types where required Develop custom WordPress queries using WP_Query Display dynamic content based on custom fields and taxonomy relationships Modify existing WordPress templates where necessary Work with WordPress template hierarchy Implement custom archive, taxonomy, and single post templates Register CPTs and taxonomies correctly with appropriate rewrite rules and capabilities Ensure the solution is scalable, maintainable, and follows WordPress coding standards Troubleshoot and resolve any compatibility or data-structure issues Work directly within the existing website architecture without breaking current functionality Required Technical Expertise You must have strong practical experience with: Advanced Custom Fields (ACF Pro) Custom Post Types Custom Taxonomies WordPress Template Hierarchy WP_Query get_posts() WordPress Hooks: Actions & Filters Custom Meta Fields WordPress Meta Queries Taxonomy Queries Custom Archive Pages Single Post Templates Relationship Fields Repeater Fields Flexible Content Fields ACF Options Pages PHP MySQL / WordPress Database Structure HTML / CSS / JavaScript WordPress Coding Standards Debugging and troubleshooting existing WordPress installations Experience with the following will be considered a strong advantage: Custom Gutenberg Blocks REST API WordPress Roles & Capabilities Custom Rewrite Rules AJAX Elementor or Bricks Builder integration with ACF dynamic data Performance optimisation for custom queries Git / version control Important: Senior-Level Experience Required Please do not apply if you are a beginner or mid-level WordPress developer. We are specifically looking for someone who understands how WordPress works at a technical and architectural level. You should be comfortable working with: Custom PHP templates Complex ACF structures Multiple CPTs and taxonomies Dynamic relationships between different content types Meta queries and taxonomy queries Existing WordPress codebases Debugging custom functionality This project may require you to understand the existing website structure before implementing the new functionality. We are not looking for someone who simply installs plugins or uses drag-and-drop builders.
