AI Agent Developer (Full-Stack + AWS) Type: Full-time Location: Remote Start: Immediate ##About the Role We're building a SaaS platform powered by autonomous AI agents, and we're looking for a hands-on **AI Agent Developer** to help build it from the ground up. This isn't a side-project gig — we need someone who can commit full-time, move fast, and take real ownership of the product as it grows from MVP to a production-grade platform. You'll be working across the entire stack: designing and building the agentic AI systems at the core of the product, architecting the backend and cloud infrastructure, and connecting it all to a polished frontend. If you love the idea of building intelligent, autonomous systems that actually ship — not just prototypes — this is for you. ## What You'll Do - Design, build, and deploy AI agents and multi-agent workflows that power core product features - Build and maintain full-stack application infrastructure (API, backend services, frontend integration) - Architect and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS for scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency - Integrate LLMs and agentic frameworks into production systems (not just notebooks/demos) - Build data pipelines and ML components to support agent reasoning, retrieval, and decision-making - Own features end-to-end: from design and architecture through deployment and monitoring - Iterate quickly based on user feedback in a fast-moving startup environment - Collaborate directly with the founder/product lead on roadmap and technical decisions ## Required Skills & Experience **AI / ML / Agentic AI** - Strong Python skills (production-quality, not just scripting) - Hands-on experience building with **LangChain** and **LangGraph** - Practical experience with **agentic AI** systems — multi-step reasoning, tool use, memory, orchestration - Experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar) - Understanding of RAG (retrieval-augmented generation), vector databases, and embeddings - Machine learning fundamentals (model evaluation, fine-tuning, prompt engineering) **Full-Stack Development** - Backend development (Python — FastAPI/Django/Flask or similar) - Frontend development (React or similar modern framework) - REST/GraphQL API design and integration - Database design (SQL and NoSQL) **Cloud & Infrastructure (AWS)** - Experience deploying and managing applications on **AWS** (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.) - Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines - Understanding of cloud security and cost optimization best practices **Nice to Have** - Experience building or contributing to a SaaS product from scratch - Familiarity with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, etc.) - Experience with async/event-driven architectures - Previous startup experience ## Who We're Looking For - Someone genuinely excited about agentic AI and building something meaningful, not just clocking hours - Self-motivated and comfortable with ambiguity — you'll be making real technical decisions, not just following tickets - Able to work **full-time** and fully dedicate yourself to this project - A strong communicator who can work closely with a small, fast-moving team - Someone who wants ownership and is excited by the challenge of building a product from zero to one ## Experience Level 3+ years professional software development experience, with at least 1+ years of hands-on work involving LLMs/agentic AI systems in production (not just personal projects or coursework). ## Skills & Technologies (for Upwork skill tags) **AI / ML** - Python - LangChain - LangGraph - Agentic AI / Multi-Agent Systems - OpenAI API / Anthropic API - RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) - Vector Databases (Pinecone / Weaviate / Chroma) - Prompt Engineering - Machine Learning - LLM Fine-Tuning **Backend** - Backend Development - FastAPI - Python (Django / Flask also welcome) - REST API Development - API Integration - GraphQL (nice to have) - PostgreSQL / SQL - NoSQL (MongoDB / DynamoDB) - Async / Event-Driven Architecture - Microservices Architecture **Frontend** - React.js - JavaScript / TypeScript - Tailwind CSS (nice to have) **Cloud / DevOps** - AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS) - Docker - CI/CD Pipelines - Cloud Security Best Practices **SaaS / Product** - SaaS Architecture - Startup Experience - Full-Stack Development - System Design
