AI Developer Needed to Build a Production-Ready AI Agent System for a Multi-Location Restaurant

We are looking for an experienced AI Developer to develop and implement a fully integrated AI Agent system for our multi-location restaurant business in Australia. Project Objectives The primary objectives of this project are to: Automate customer communications across multiple channels. Integrate data from our restaurant locations and existing business systems. Build AI agents that can access relevant business information and execute approved workflows. Centralise operational and customer data into a structured, accessible system. Generate automated reports and performance summaries. Key Responsibilities 1. AI Agent Development Design and implement AI agents capable of performing business-specific tasks. Build tool-enabled agents that can retrieve information, interact with APIs, and execute approved actions. Implement context-aware workflows with appropriate error handling and fallback mechanisms. Integrate retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) where needed to provide accurate, business-specific responses. Implement human escalation and approval workflows for sensitive or high-impact actions. 2. Customer Communication Automation Integrate relevant customer communication channels, such as WhatsApp, website chat, email, and other agreed platforms. Automate responses to common customer questions about menus, opening hours, locations, bookings, and restaurant policies. Route complex, sensitive, or unresolved inquiries to the appropriate staff. Maintain conversation history and relevant customer context where appropriate. Ensure customer communications are consistent, reliable, and aligned with business requirements. 3. Business Data Integration Connect the AI system to existing business software through APIs and other supported integration methods. Integrate relevant data sources, potentially including POS systems, online ordering platforms, booking systems, customer databases, and sales records. Design a centralised data architecture that supports multiple restaurant locations. Implement data validation, synchronisation, access controls, and monitoring.
