Developer for Interactive Ranking Platform (Python/SQL Core)

Project Overview: I am launching a novel web-based decision-making platform where users rank items (images, text, media). This is a completely new build, as such you would have a lot of freedom in how you build the final product, within the frame of some general specifications. This would likely be a longer term cooperation as the product grows. Core Technical Requirements / Specifications: Backend (Mandatory): Python Database (Mandatory): SQL Frontend (Flexible): Open for recommendation (e.g. React, Django,...). Infrastructure: The deployment will be on the Infomaniak Cloud VPS. Inital MVP: 1. Basic front end deployment with some level of animation / interactivity. 2. Deployment of basic user functionality (e.g. login, ability to make comments etc...). 3. Frontend Admin interface (so one can process user content reports etc...). 4. Implementation of the decision-making engine (algorithm will be provided). 5. Database design and deployment. 6. Media handling, upload of images/audio/video directly to Object Storage. Ideal Candidate Profile: 1. Strong experience with Python and SQL, and at least one modern frontend stack. 2. Able to work independently, proactively flag risks, and suggest optimizations to the proposed design. 3. Prior experience with web applications involving user accounts, content / media management, e-commerce / marketplaces / ad platforms.
