Full Stack Developer (Next.js/React/Node.js) – AI Agent Integration for SaaS Platform

We're looking for an expert full stack developer to join our team for 3–6 months, working on a SaaS platform that combines a modern web app with AI agent/automation capabilities. Scope: - Work across a mix of new feature development and extending/maintaining our existing codebase - Build and integrate AI agents and automation workflows into the platform (e.g., task automation, agentic pipelines, LLM-driven processes) - Develop and maintain frontend (Next.js/React) and backend (Node.js) systems - Collaborate closely with the team on architecture decisions for scaling AI-driven features Requirements: - Proven expert-level experience with Next.js, React, and Node.js in production SaaS environments - Hands-on experience building AI agents / automation workflows (LangChain, LlamaIndex, custom orchestration, or similar) - Experience integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) into production systems - Strong understanding of REST/GraphQL API design, databases, and cloud deployment - Comfortable working with an existing codebase as well as greenfield development - Excellent communication skills for an ongoing, multi-month engagement Definition of done / acceptance criteria: - Delivered features match agreed specs and pass QA/testing with no critical bugs - AI agent/automation workflows run reliably in production with error handling and logging - Code is documented, follows existing project conventions, and is merged via reviewed pull requests - Existing functionality is not broken by new changes (regression-tested) - Deployment/handover steps are documented for the team
