Full-Stack Developer to Build Job Board & Membership Platform — HTML & Designs Ready

DESCRIPTION We are building a career platform for the non-profit, international cooperation, development, and impact sectors — a curated job board with organisation profiles, member accounts, and a free + paid membership tier. The design and front-end are on the way of completion. All pages exist as production HTML/CSS, ~80% of assets are in Figma, and we have a full data-model spec already reflected in the HTML. A tech stack has been chosen and partly set up by our technical collaborator. This engagement is therefore primarily back-end and integration work. There is no design work — but you will do meaningful hands-on front-end assembly. Our pages exist as static HTML/CSS that still needs to be turned into working, wired-up templates, with components pieced together and checked, WHAT YOU WILL BUILD 1) A public functional core: backend + database + admin, data-driven organisation profile pages, and a searchable/filterable Job Board (6 filters, job cards, apply-link logic, view/apply counters), plus a lighter "Opportunities" listing. 2) A membership system: user accounts (seeker / provider / admin), four member dashboards (two free, two paid), free-vs-paid access gating, a provider job-submission form with admin moderation, and membership-status sync with Buy Me a Coffee (status tracking only — no on-site payments). 3) Templating of the static content pages (Home, About, FAQ, Resources Library) with a lightweight way for us to edit copy. 4) Front-end assembly & QA (hands-on, not just back-end): turn the provided static HTML/CSS into working templates; piece together and verify page components render correctly; build a few additional UI elements and pop-up/modal windows from the existing Figma library; and confirm responsiveness and cross-browser consistency. Nothing needs designing — but this is real front-end work, not a pure server-side role. Optional add-on (price separately): a CSV / bulk-import feature so a batch of jobs — e.g. AI-assisted — can be pasted or uploaded in one go, rather than entered one at a time. WHAT WE PROVIDE all HTML/CSS, Figma access, the data-model spec, a master org list (Excel) + seed job data, brand guide, and the existing Node.js stack. No design or stack setup needed from you. Out of scope: automated job scanning/crawling and any ingestion pipeline — we source and enter jobs ourselves. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR Proven full-stack experience shipping database-driven Node.js web apps with user accounts, roles, and dashboards. Solid HTML/CSS hands. Comfortable working within an existing, partly-set-up codebase (please confirm in your proposal). Clear communicator, available for a multi-month engagement.
