Full Stack Developer

We are a small software company in Almaty, Kazakhstan. We build internal business systems for mid-size companies: ERP, warehouse and service management, sales pipelines, document workflows, and AI assistants built on top of them. Most of our contracts are fixed price and fixed deadline, which means whatever we commit to has to actually ship. We are looking for one full stack developer to work with us long term. THE STACK Next.js / React / TypeScript on the front. Python with FastAPI on the back or alternative. PostgreSQL, S3-compatible storage, Docker. Some projects have an LLM layer (LangGraph, Anthropic and OpenAI APIs). If you have shipped real systems on this stack, we want to talk. WHAT THE WORK LOOKS LIKE You get a written spec from us: data model, screens, business rules. You build the feature end to end, front and back, and you own it until it runs in production.You will be one of two or three people on a project. We handle the clients, so you never have to. But you do have to tell us when the spec is wrong, ask before building something you are unsure about, and say early when a deadline is at risk. Most of the damage in our work comes from silence, not from mistakes. We use AI tools every day and expect you to do the same. What matters to us is whether you catch what the model got wrong, not whether you used it. WHAT WE NEED - 2+ years building web applications, with real experience - At least one project where you were the only developer, or one of two, and the system is still in use today - You read a spec, ask questions before starting, and estimate your own work honestly - 30+ hours per week, with at least 4 hours of overlap with 10:00-19:00 Almaty time (UTC+5) - Written English good enough for clear async updates. Russian is a strong plus, because our clients' documents and interfaces are in Russian HOW WE HIRE 1. We read proposals and shortlist 2.
