Scraper Tool

I have a local events app, and I’m looking to build a much more reliable automated event-scraping tool for it. The idea is that as an admin, I can attach a venue’s website, event page, Google Calendar, etc. to their business profile, and the system will automatically pull all upcoming events from that source and create them as individual events in Vibe with the correct title, date, time, category, description, address, kid-friendly status, and other event details. I already have an early version built, but it’s pretty inconsistent depending on the website/calendar format. The bigger goal is to make this something I can set to automatically run every week, every 2 weeks, monthly, etc. without me having to manually check each venue. It would also need to recognize existing events so it can update them instead of creating duplicates, and handle failures safely. Ideally, if I notice the AI made a mistake, I’d also like to be able to correct it and explain what went wrong so the system can remember that guidance for that specific source and improve future scrapes. I’m not expecting 100% accuracy across every website on the internet, but I want to get it as close to fully reliable as realistically possible for the types of bar, restaurant, and venue calendars Vibe will be using.
