Senior Backend Engineer Needed to Finalize & Launch an AI SaaS Platform

I’m the founder of an AI-powered SaaS platform designed to help businesses discover government tenders, assess eligibility, analyze requirements, and automate proposal preparation across international markets. The platform is already extensively developed. I’m not looking for someone to start from scratch. I’m looking for a highly experienced, hands-on Senior Backend Engineer who can take the existing system, independently assess its architecture, resolve critical issues, and help prepare it for a secure, reliable production launch. Backend Review & Optimization * Review the existing architecture and codebase. * Identify technical weaknesses, bugs, and scalability concerns. * Improve reliability, performance, and maintainability. 2. Security & Data Integrity * Review authentication, authorization, and tenant isolation. * Identify API, database, and integration vulnerabilities. * Verify data integrity and secure handling of sensitive information. 3. AI & System Reliability * Review LLM integrations, error handling, and AI workflows. * Evaluate API usage, reliability, and operating costs. * Identify and address critical failure scenarios. 4. Production Readiness * Review deployment configuration, monitoring, and error handling. * Fix agreed high-priority launch blockers. * Implement meaningful regression tests. * Document remaining issues and the steps required for launch. Who I’m Looking For * Senior-level backend engineer with proven production SaaS experience. * Strong knowledge of APIs, databases, security, and cloud infrastructure. * Experience with AI/LLM integrations. * Excellent debugging, architecture, and testing skills. * Someone who can work independently and make sound engineering decisions. * Someone who improves existing systems rather than unnecessarily rebuilding them. Expected Deliverables An initial technical assessment, a prioritized list of production blockers, implemented fixes within an agreed scope, supporting test results, and a clear roadmap for any remaining launch work.
