AI Agent for Remote Job Applications

I need a developer to build a low-cost AI job application agent that can automatically find, evaluate, tailor my resume for, and apply to specific remote jobs. The agent’s goal is very specific: identify genuinely work-from-anywhere remote jobs or contractor roles that involve direct work with preschool-age children with disabilities and their families, and that could plausibly satisfy Pennsylvania Early Intervention / Special Instructor experience requirements. The system should be able to: - Search job boards and company career pages for relevant roles - Filter out jobs that are remote only within one U.S. state - Prioritize worldwide-remote or contractor roles - Identify jobs involving direct work with children roughly ages 0–5 with developmental delays, disabilities, autism, special education, or early intervention needs - Prioritize jobs that also involve parent or caregiver interaction - Exclude administrative-only, AI training, curriculum review, adult-only, and parent-only roles - Score each job based on how likely it is to satisfy Pennsylvania Special Instructor experience requirements - Tailor my resume to each job without inventing experience, credentials, licenses, or duties - Generate a cover letter when useful - Apply automatically where technically feasible - Save jobs that require human review instead of submitting blindly - Track every application, employer, job title, date, status, resume version, and application link - Avoid duplicate applications - Respect configurable daily application limits The agent should target titles such as: Early Intervention Specialist, Developmental Specialist, Infant-Toddler Developmental Specialist, Early Childhood Special Education Tutor, Developmental Interventionist, Autism Early Intervention Specialist, Special Needs Preschool Tutor, Early Childhood Family Coach, Remote Special Education Tutor, and similar roles. Important Requirements The build should be cheap to operate. I prefer open-source tools and inexpensive APIs wherever possible. A good stack could include Python, Playwright or browser automation, inexpensive LLM APIs, local models where practical, SQLite/Postgres, and simple job-board/API integrations. I do not want a system that blindly mass-applies to hundreds of irrelevant jobs. The agent should use a funnel like: Find job → check worldwide eligibility → check age group → check disability/special-needs duties → check family interaction → score likelihood of qualifying → tailor resume → apply or send to review queue. The system should be modular so additional job boards and application sites can be added later. Deliverables I want: 1. Working prototype 2. Source code 3. Simple setup instructions 4.
