AI-Enabled Finance Developer (ERPNext + Claude Code) — Help Build an Open-Source AI Finance Platform

We're building an open-source, AI-native finance operating system — and we're looking for developers who want to help build it from the ground up. This is a hands-on build role. You'll work as part of a small AI-development cohort creating an AI-assisted finance platform: automating bookkeeping, transaction categorization, and financial workflows while keeping a human approval layer for accuracy and trust. Our stack: ERPNext (open-source ERP / accounting) as the foundation Claude Code and AI-assisted development AI-driven categorization and automation Human-in-the-loop approval workflows Open-source infrastructure What you'll do: Build and customize ERPNext modules for multi-entity accounting Integrate AI (LLMs) for transaction categorization, document processing, and financial automation Build human approval/review workflows so the system stays accurate and audit-ready Work with our finance/bookkeeping lead to turn accounting rules into automated logic Write clean, documented, maintainable code Who we're looking for: Comfortable with Python and modern development Experience with (or eagerness to learn) ERPNext / Frappe framework Uses AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) daily and builds fast with them Understands APIs, automation, and integrating LLMs into real workflows Takes ownership, communicates clearly, and enjoys building systems that improve over time Bonus: any finance/accounting/fintech background We hire for capability and ownership, not just years of experience. This role can grow as the platform does.
