Build a Custom Automated Video Production Pipeline I'm a professional documentary portrait photographer with over 10 years of experience, and I'm looking for an experienced automation engineer to build a custom production workflow that dramatically reduces my post-production time. My Workflow Every week I travel to meet interesting people and create documentary features for my Substack. My equipment includes: Meta Ray-Ban Glasses (POV video) Zoom H1essential Recorder (32-bit float audio) Ricoh GR IIIx (photography) iPhone MacBook During a typical shoot I may: Film my journey and behind-the-scenes footage using my Meta glasses. Film interactions with people. Photograph them using my Ricoh. Sometimes record a dedicated interview using my Zoom recorder. Sometimes record ambient soundscapes on the Zoom recorder. Print a photograph for the subject on location. Every project is different, but all the media belongs to a single documentary feature. What I Need I want a custom system where I simply upload all of my media after a shoot, and the software automatically prepares everything for editing. The system should: Automatically organise all uploaded files into a project. Synchronise audio and video where appropriate. Preserve both the Meta audio and Zoom audio so either can be used during editing. Create a ready-to-edit Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve project. Organise photographs, audio and video into clearly labelled folders/bins. Use my existing intro/outro/templates where appropriate. Be extremely simple to use. My goal is not to automate creative editing. I simply want to eliminate repetitive technical work so I can focus on storytelling and photography. Deliverables A reliable automated workflow. Installation and testing on my Mac. Clear documentation. A simple handover guide for my virtual assistant.
