# Build a Notion-Style Docs and Knowledge Base App with Neander.ai **IMPORTANT — You must have a MacBook to work on this project.** We’re looking for a strong builder / full-stack developer to build, test, and publish a working docs and knowledge base app using Neander.ai. Users should be able to create, organize, edit, and find information. The finished app must have persistent content and a responsive UI; a static mockup is not sufficient. ## What to build Create one workspace with a home page and sample content, such as an employee handbook, product notes, and marketing guidelines. The application should support: - Creating, renaming, editing, duplicating, and archiving pages - Organizing pages into parent and child pages - Moving and reordering pages within the hierarchy - Editing content with headings, paragraphs, lists, and links - Showing the page hierarchy in a sidebar - Searching page titles and body text - Linking one page to another within the workspace - Restoring archived pages without losing their content or child pages ## Scope Use one workspace with a single acting user. Real-time collaboration, granular permissions, AI writing, external integrations, and complex databases are out of scope. Page content, hierarchy, internal links, edits, and archived pages must survive a refresh and return visit. Keep the app usable on desktop and mobile. ## Testing requirements Build, test, fix issues, and publish through Neander.ai. Test both the development preview and the published app. Please test the following: - Create a parent page and several nested pages. - Add and edit headings, paragraphs, lists, and links. - Move and reorder pages in the hierarchy. - Create an internal page link and confirm it opens the correct page. - Search for words in page titles and body content, including searches with no matches. - Archive and restore a page with child pages. - Reopen pages and refresh to verify all content and organization are saved. - Check blank titles, empty pages, long documents, deeply nested pages, and broken links. - Check desktop and mobile layouts. - Record every bug encountered, including bugs you fix, and retest each fix. ## Required deliverables - The email ID you used on Neander - The published Neander app link, with instructions for testing the complete workflow - A spreadsheet of **all** bugs found, including descriptions, steps to reproduce, status, and screenshots wherever possible ## When applying Please share relevant applications you’ve built, preferably with live links; a short explanation of your build and testing approach; and any limitations or challenges you expect with this scope. **Suggested Upwork skills:** Full-Stack Development, Web Application Development, Rich Text Editor Development, Database Design, Responsive Web Design **Product reference:** [Notion Wiki](https://www.notion.com/help/guides/category/wiki)
