Full-Stack Developer for Real-Time Next.js Apps

We are a European deep-tech product company building real-time operational software. Live map layers, streaming sensor data, mission timelines, node graphs, AI decision panels. Dense operator consoles, not marketing sites. We are hiring a contract full-stack developer to turn high-fidelity interface demos into fully working products. WHAT YOU WILL DO - Build features across Next.js App Router, React 19 and TypeScript - Wire screens to Supabase auth and Postgres, and to real-time streams over websockets or NATS - Work with deck.gl, Mapbox GL and ReactFlow for map and graph surfaces - Get the Server Component and Client Component boundaries right - Keep hundreds of live entities updating at 1Hz without dropping frames - Ship to Vercel with clean, typed, reviewable code MUST HAVE - Production Next.js App Router and React work you can point to - Strong TypeScript. Comfortable in a large existing codebase - Real-time data experience: websockets, SSE, message queues or similar - Fluent written and spoken English - Based in Europe: Ukraine, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Serbia, Moldova, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Portugal, Spain, Germany or the Netherlands NICE TO HAVE - Geospatial work with deck.gl, Mapbox, Turf or H3 - Performance profiling in React - Zustand, Radix, shadcn/ui, Tailwind HOW WE WORK Ongoing contract, remote, roughly 20 to 40 hours a week. Because of the nature of the product we sign a short mutual NDA before sharing any product detail. After the NDA we run one paid, fixed-fee build task before any longer engagement.
