Full-Stack Software Engineer (.NET / React) Location: Remote Job Type: Full-time Department: Engineering / Application Development Position Overview We are looking for a motivated Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our development team. In this role, you will help build, maintain, and scale feature-rich web applications and backend APIs using C# / .NET and React. You will work closely with senior engineers and architects to build web features, integrate services across cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure and AWS), work with relational databases (SQL and PostgreSQL), and ensure our applications comply with data privacy standards like GDPR. Key Responsibilities Full-Stack & API Development Web Application Features: Develop responsive frontend components using React and build backend services using ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and ASP.NET Web API. API Integrations: Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices to integrate internal features and third-party systems. Bug Fixing & Optimization: Debug, refactor, and improve existing codebase performance across the stack. Cloud & Serverless Infrastructure Cloud Operations: Assist in deploying and maintaining application services on Microsoft Azure and AWS. Serverless Execution: Implement basic event-driven serverless functions (e.g., Azure Functions, AWS Lambda) under the guidance of senior team members. Data Engineering & Maintenance Database Querying: Write, test, and optimize database queries, stored procedures, and scripts using SQL and PostgreSQL. Data Flow Support: Support basic data engineering tasks, including moving, transforming, and validating data across application databases. Compliance & Quality Assurance GDPR Compliance: Follow secure coding practices and implement data privacy features (e.g., data encryption basics, consent flags, and anonymization requirements). Testing & Code Reviews: Write unit and integration tests, participate in peer code reviews, and adhere to CI/CD pipeline workflows. Required Qualifications Technical Skills Languages & Frameworks: 1–3 years of hands-on experience with C#, .NET Core (or ASP.NET MVC/Web API), and JavaScript/TypeScript with React. Databases: Working knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server or PostgreSQL) and basic data management. API Development: Familiarity with HTTP protocols, JSON, RESTful API design, and frontend API integration. Cloud Basics: Foundational exposure to cloud environments (Microsoft Azure or AWS Development) and concepts like serverless execution (AWS Lambda or Azure Functions). Data Privacy: Understanding of basic privacy principles and compliance standards like GDPR. Education & Experience Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience/bootcamp background. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, eagerness to learn new technologies, and clear written/verbal communication skills. Preferred / Nice-to-Have Experience writing unit tests (e.g., xUnit, NUnit, Jest). Familiarity with Git version control and Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions. Exposure to basic data pipeline concepts or data transformation tools.
