I'm a licensed real estate agent working two Southern California markets, and I'm hiring a full-stack WordPress developer to build my new website. My site currently runs on a proprietary all-in-one real estate platform. I'm moving it to WordPress so I actually own the asset, control my own SEO, and can connect it properly to my CRM and ad tracking. This is a migration. Nothing gets shut off until the new site is confirmed working. I'm looking for a person who can own both the front end and the back end. PLEASE SHARE A 30-SECOND VIDEO ABOUT YOUR EXPERTISE AND SKILLS We are looking to hire ASAP! Start: Project-based, defined milestones. After launch: Ongoing monthly maintenance hours for updates, new landing pages, and small feature builds. I'd rather keep working with whoever builds this than hand it off to someone new. What You'll Build? Front end: Custom WordPress build (custom theme or heavily customized premium theme — tell me your approach and why) Mobile-first and fast. Most of my traffic is on a phone, and page speed will be checked. Core pages: home, about, two market/service area sections, listings, sold portfolio, testimonials, blog, contact Reusable landing page templates so my team can spin up campaign pages without calling you every time Consistent design system — type scale, colors, button and form components WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility pass. Non-negotiable — real estate has real legal exposure here. Back end: IDX integration with two separate MLS feeds (San Diego MLS and CRMLS for LA/Ventura). Search, saved searches, listing detail pages, lead capture on listings. Direct experience with broker IDX feeds is a hard requirement. GoHighLevel (GHL) integration — forms or webhook/API pass-through into my CRM, hidden UTM capture on every form, calendar/booking embeds, instant lead notifications Full migration and redirect strategy — content inventory, URL mapping, 301 redirect map, no loss of existing rankings. I also have a second live domain carrying listing content that needs a consolidation plan before anything is touched. Technical SEO foundation: clean URL structure, schema markup (RealEstateAgent, LocalBusiness, FAQ, Listing), XML sitemaps, canonical hygiene, correct titles and meta Tracking: GA4, Google Search Console, Meta Pixel + Conversions API Hosting setup, staging environment, SSL, automated backups, security hardening, caching Documentation and handover: how it's built, what plugins run what, how to add a landing page Required Skills -WordPress: custom themes, custom post types, ACF, PHP -HTML/CSS/JS, responsive front-end development -IDX/MLS feed integration (name the providers you've worked with) -REST APIs, webhooks, third-party CRM integrations -Site migrations with redirect mapping and rank preservation -Page speed and Core Web Vitals optimization -Staging → production deployment Nice to Have Prior GoHighLevel work Real estate or local service business experience Meta Pixel / CAPI implementation Local SEO fundamentals
