Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Ruby on Rails + NestJS + Next.js) – SaaS Platform Architecture – TribeAWL We are building a large SaaS platform called TribeAWL that combines functionality similar to Mindbody, Jane App, ClassPass, and Mangomint into one ecosystem. The platform serves service-based businesses including: Medical clinics Med spas Wellness studios Fitness studios Yoga studios Beauty providers Independent professionals This is not a small project. We are looking for a highly experienced full-stack developer who understands architecture, SaaS systems, and scalable platform design. Tech Stack Backend Ruby on Rails (primary system) NestJS services Frontend Next.js React Infrastructure PostgreSQL Redis Modern API architecture You must be very strong in both Ruby on Rails AND NestJS / NextJS. Current Situation The platform is already built and functional. However, we are now entering a phase where we need to refactor and scale the architecture. The main problems we need help solving: 1. Pricing Tier Architecture Currently every pricing tier has the same features enabled. We need to: Separate features by pricing tier Implement feature flags Create modular feature gating Allow admin configuration of feature availability Example: Starter Plan Scheduling Basic CRM Payments Pro Plan Scheduling CRM Inventory Automation Marketing tools Enterprise Multi-location Advanced reporting API integrations Corporate dashboards Marketplace promotion tools 2. Enterprise Tier Expansion We are building a large enterprise offering for multi-location organizations. This includes: Organizational hierarchy Multi-brand management Location segmentation Role matrices Compliance layers Enterprise reporting Corporate wellness modules We need someone who can help architect this correctly, not just code features. 3. Processes / Workflow Add-On We are adding a process management system inside the platform similar to: Process Street Monday workflows ClickUp automations Examples: Clinic protocols Staff onboarding checklists Compliance workflows Training processes Operational SOPs This needs to integrate with: Staff roles Locations Clients Scheduling Notifications The Type of Developer We Want You are: Very strong with Ruby on Rails Very strong with NestJS Very strong with Next.js / React Comfortable with large SaaS platforms Fast but thoughtful Able to design architecture, not just write code Able to break large features into logical components Comfortable working with product vision and ambiguity Bonus if you have experience building: EMR / healthcare platforms Marketplace platforms Scheduling systems Multi-tenant SaaS Stripe Connect / payment systems What We Do NOT Want Please do not apply if you are: A junior developer Someone who needs constant direction Someone who only does frontend Someone who only does backend Someone who cannot move quickly We need a true builder who can execute fast.
